Megan Paquin
FOUNDER & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Megan Paquin has been trusted to lead communications initiatives for some of the world’s most respected brands and institutions. With a broad range of diverse, high-profile communications experience, she is routinely called on to lead in critical legal and business matters – from litigation at the United States Supreme Court to complex business litigation and criminal matters. Megan also brings an unrivaled depth of integrated marketing and organizational development expertise to her strategic communications practice, offering clients a leading edge in building successful businesses. Megan is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) and a Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC). In 2022, she was individually recognized by Chambers and Partners for excellence in crisis and risk communication as well as litigation support. Megan is an adjunct instructor at the University of Central Florida’s Nicholson School of Communication, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in organizational communication. She also holds a master’s degree in behavioral economics from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and is currently a doctoral student in its business psychology program.
Erin Charles
CHIEF OF STAFF + ACCOUNT DIRECTOR
Erin Charles is a seasoned communications professional with a unique background advising professional services clients and implementing impactful media relations strategies across diverse sectors, including law firms, government relations, entertainment, luxury services, agriculture, and nonprofit organizations. Her proactive approach and keen understanding of media dynamics prove successful in securing coveted interviews, bylines and fruitful introductions for clients to journalists from top-tier outlets. Erin’s ability to navigate diverse media landscapes ensures that her clients receive the visibility and recognition they deserve — no matter the industry or topic.
Erin earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations from the University of Alabama. She is the definition of a sports fanatic and is dedicated to spending as much time as possible in the Florida sunshine.
Karen Suarez
CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Karen Suarez has nearly two decades of experience managing operations and finances in professional services ranging from law firms to public relations organizations. She brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success overseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of a company. Karen excels in operational management, strategic planning, performance monitoring and resource allocation to ensure a business’s success. She is passionate about translating a company’s vision and strategy into actionable plans to drive operational proficiency.
Karen earned her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from the University of Central Florida. Beyond her professional achievements, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, dominating at F45 or in obstacle course races and exploring her love of cooking.
Kaden Jacobs

Kaden Jacobs is a strategic communications leader with extensive experience spanning healthcare, education, business, and non-profit where he has a proven track record of driving impactful initiatives that enhance brand reputation and stakeholder engagement.
A skilled strategist and counselor, he specializes in crisis management, reputation enhancement, and strategic message development for clients dealing with complex situations. His methodical approach to communications has consistently delivered measurable results, from elevating internal engagement to successfully managing organizational reputation.
Kaden, a U.S. Navy veteran, is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Louisville, as well as a Master of Science in Communications & Public Relations from Syracuse University. His commitment to excellence has earned him numerous accolades, including recognition in Georgia Trend Magazine’s “40 Under 40” and PRSA Georgia’s “40 Under 40.” As a graduate adjunct instructor at West Virginia University’s Reed School of Media and Communications, he shares his expertise in public relations strategies and crisis communication with the next generation of industry professionals.
Laura D’Abbondanza

Laura D’Abbondanza has been elevating brands through comprehensive communication strategies for over two decades. With experience across multiple sectors, she is highly skilled in media relations, content development, and new business development. Among her accolades, Laura successfully built and developed an award-winning public relations team, focusing on strategizing and implementing multi-pronged public relations strategies to grow brand awareness, enhance community engagement, and foster deeper connections with her clients’ stakeholders. Her passion for serving her community through outreach and education fuels her dedication to driving impactful messages that make a difference in the lives of others.
Laura earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland. In her free time, Laura enjoys traveling with her husband and two teenage children as they work towards their family goal of attending an NFL football game in every stadium in the U.S. She also enjoys all things performing arts, nature walks, and volunteering in her community.
Jasmine Garcia
ACCOUNT COORDINATOR
Jasmine Garcia is a strategic marketing professional with a proven track record of crafting targeted communication strategies that drive measurable results. Drawing on her experience across various industries, including healthcare-related finance, technology, education programs, business development and community initiatives, Jasmine has developed a versatile skill set in digital marketing, large-scale event coordination and media relations. She is skilled at developing marketing campaigns that not only capture attention, but also build authentic connections with audiences. Her experience in analyzing data to extract actionable insights has been instrumental in improving customer engagement and driving business growth. Jasmine earned her bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from the University of Central Florida. She enjoys yoga, reading, and trying new recipes.
Morgan Christie
INTERN
Morgan Christie is an Intern that joined the Paquin PR team in January 2025. She is from Parkland and is living in Orlando while pursuing a degree at the University of Central Florida. Currently a senior, she is a double majoring in advertising/public relations and political science. Outside of her studies she is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated where she serves as the Ivy Leaf Reporter and a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Professional Business Fraternity. Upon graduation Morgan plans to attend law school with the goal of pursuing a career in public relations and crisis communication, combining legal expertise with strategic communication skills. In her free time, Morgan enjoys graphic design, participating in community service projects and reading.
Reagan Matthes
INTERN
Reagan Matthes joined Paquin PR as an intern in January 2025. She is originally from St. Petersburg, and has moved to Orlando to pursue higher education and work for leading entertainment companies on a local and national level. Reagan is majoring in advertising and public relations with a focus in social media marketing at the University of Central Florida. She is also pursuing a minor in the humanities and cultural studies to broaden her worldview so she can further assist her clients. After graduation, Reagan intends to break into the public relations industry with a focus in social media marketing and crisis communication. In her free time, she enjoys creative activities such as painting, photography, cooking, and taking dance classes.
