In the aftermath of Hurricane Milton, many of our neighbors are still feeling the impact, and local organizations are facing significant challenges. The Finley Project, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting mothers experiencing infant loss, made the difficult decision to postpone its major fundraiser of the year due to the storm. This unexpected setback created a financial gap that threatens their vital services.
In response, Paquin PR helped bridge the gap. We launched a campaign to match donations up to $500, rallying community support for The Finley Project during this critical time. We’re happy to announce that within 72 hours, we met that goal!
Every dollar raised through this initiative will help fund 12 counseling sessions for grieving mothers, providing them with the emotional support they desperately need while dealing with the unthinkable loss of a child.
“I joined The Finley Project’s Board of Directors because I believe in its unique mission,” Paquin Public Relations Founder and CEO Megan Paquin said. “Though unthinkably heartbreaking, the wraparound services provided by this organization are necessary steps to helping grieving families move forward in healing.”
The Finley Project knows that healing requires connection and understanding, and these counseling sessions offer a safe space for mothers to navigate their profound grief. Paquin PR invites individuals and businesses to join in this important mission. Together, we can turn compassion into action and ensure that mothers in need have access to the resources that can help them heal.
